Make approximately 14 soft steamed buns with a mixer dough, ready to fill and serve.
The Story Behind the Recipe
I love Asian food, and bao buns are no exception. I had wanted to make them at home for a long time, especially because buying them regularly can become expensive.
Making my own buns and choosing the filling sounded very appealing. So far, I have tried pork belly gua bao, and I loved the result.
I am still exploring bao and want to try more fillings. These soft buns are my starting point.
